A lorry driver insisted he was no hero but just an ordinary bloke in the right place at the right time when he caught an Islington mugger who had just robbed a girl of her iPhone. Mr Thomson-Alan, who chased the mugger and demanded the phone back before the police arrived to arrest the mugger commented 'It's such a shame our society has gone this way. If other people stepped in when they saw something like this happen, maybe thieves would think twice before doing it."
