Five Islington men have been jailed for a total of 27 years after their £100,000 robbery of a jewellers in Northampton was foiled by a SuperGran. 71 year old Ann Timson, who ran up the road to foil the robbery and started hitting gang members with her handbag, was hailed a hero by the judge. Her actions had been filmed by a nearby camera crew and this made her an internet star earlier this year.
