Our grass roots campaign launches to reduce the level of street violence in Hackney and Islington by 20% over the next four years. The campaign is built on getting more people to engage as confident witnesses if they see street violence.
SPARKLE! is the watch word as explained in the invitation to people in Hackney and in Islington which the launch was featured on page 2 of the Hackney Gazette and page 3 of the Islington Gazette. The campaign is informed by a new report, Get Up, Stand Up which looks at the experiences and attitudes of people in these boroughs to street violence.
